    Hi guys,
I've just bought a dvd burner which supports both dvd types -/+. I've heard that dvd-r is the format which compatible to most dvd-rom drives.

My problem is that when I burn a dvd-r either video or data with nero 6 it won't be readable in any dvd-rom drive. One of my friends has the same problem and the same burner. Wheras another friend burned a dvd-r for me which works in my drive. What am I doing wrong? I tried with ISO and UDF. No multisession and multisession...

Sometimes my dvd-rom drive shows the content of the dvd but then doesn't react until I remove the disc.
Could it be the brand of my dvd-r? I also tried dvd+r but that doesn't work either.

I have a Pentium 4 with 2,3 GHz, 768 MBs Ram and 120 GBs harddrive, WinXP Prof. My burner is a Lite On with 8xDVD+R and 4x DVD-R.

Please help me! It's boring that my dvds only work in a dvd-burner.

    Sascha.

Im not sure what you are trying to burn onto your DVD. Are you making a copy of a DVD?
Do you have the full version of Nero 6?

The full version of Nero 6 has lots of options to choose from. I can't tell you what to use unless I know if you have it and what you have for source files. _X_X_X_X_X_[small]motorcycle racer

Have you tried a firmware upgrade for your DVD-ROM drives?
