CloneDVD can be used (Guide below) or DVD Shrink 3.0 (Guide below).

Make sure that you use good quality media like Ritek G03 or G04.

When you compress a movie youre not gonna get the same quality as the original dvd. If you want a dvd as clear as the original....buy another copy, hehehe!

Lets make things clear, DVD X Copy is an exact copy of the original but it splits the movie onto two DVD discs.

DVD Shrink, CloneDVD, DVD2One compresses the movie to one DVD disc. This will always lose a bit of quality, but no one can tell!

Aight thanks, now another noob "?". which is the best program (quality is a must!) you recommend outta all those,or do i have to use them all in order to get the special features/menus/5.1 surround?
---now if it makes a difference its "dvd x copy xpress" and it only uses one disc,as well myself i cannot tell the difference in quality from the original, trade-off is u get no extras and cannot set the sound for 5.1 dd,dts or thx.

CloneDVD will do this for you mate. You can copy the whole DVD or just the movie but still select any special features you want on your copy. It also allows you to keep menus or remove them.

If you want a quality program and end result, CloneDVD will do it!
If you do use CloneDVD, make sure you get AnyDVD which will decrypt the DVD for you allowing CloneDVD to read the protected DVD.
