    Hey Gang - I'm interested in comments/opinions about dvd players you own that read dvd-r media. The good, the bad and the ugly; all prices, all brands. I'm looking to purchase a new one and consider personal experiences a critical resource. Thanks !!!

    I have a panasonic DVD-S27K and it plays anything i throw it at. Panasonic dvd players rarely break. I have been using fuji dvd-r's and also have tried tdk ritek and sony.Played them all no problem.Very reliable unit give it a try.
