I just backed up a copy of my movie Ali. My first method I used "DVD X Copy Xpress Trial". This copied just the movie itself onto a DVD and then allowed me to play it on my computer and my XBOX. However, I want the backup the have extras and movies too. I then downloaded DVD Shrink to compress the files so I could have all of it on one DVD. I compressed them, and then burned it onto a DVD+R Using Nero. This created a perfect backup of the DVD with Menus, Extras and the movie, however, I am unable to play this movie on my XBOX. Does anyone have any ideas on what method I can use to burn a movie, get the menus and extras as well, and be able to play it on my XBox? Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any ideas on what I should do, or maybe how I'm burning it wrong with Nero which won't allow me to play it on my XBOX? Maybe an option that I'm not selecting?

I just posted again about using Nero and the UDF/ISO option or the DVD-Video option and the message I am prompted with. Here is the post:

"I'm trying to burn my DVD so it will work on my XBOX. I keep reading that the option to use is (DVD-ROM) UDF/ISO when creating a DVD. When I use DVD-Video, the DVD comes out fine but won't work on my XBOX, only on my computer. If I try to use the UDF/ISO, I am prompted with a message that says "You have add DVD-Video content to a compilation type that will not result in a DVD Video compliant disc. To create discs playable in standalone DVD-Video players, please use DVD-Video compilation type" Last time, I copied my information over, was prompted with this message, ignored it, burned the DVD, and ended up wasting a DVD. All the information was burned but it wasn't in any playable mode even on my computer. One thing I did not do however was put everything in a VIDEO_TS folder. I now did that, but I still get the message. If I burn now should it work, or should I not be getting this message? Any help would be appreciated. "

Any ideas on what I should do?

I haven't tried it yet on a stand alone, but I know that it DOES work on the comptuer. Anyone have any ideas on what to do? I guess my main question is about the UDF/ISO or DVD-Video choice. I hear I'm supposed to use UDF/ISO and create a VIDEO_TS folder, but it gives me the message stating "You have add DVD-Video content to a compilation type that will not result in a DVD Video compliant disc. To create discs playable in standalone DVD-Video players, please use DVD-Video compilation type" I was just wondering if I shoudl continue anyway. Last time I Continued and it didin't work but I didn't make the Video_TS folder. Any ideas???

Anyone know why I'm getting the message "You have add DVD-Video content to a compilation type that will not result in a DVD Video compliant disc. To create discs playable in standalone DVD-Video players, please use DVD-Video compilation type" after I try to paste my two folders VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS? This is only when I try to do it under UDF/ISO. It works fine under DVD-VIDEO mode but with that mode I can't watch them on the standalone.

This is how i burn a dvd video for xbox.I used Phillips DVD+RW and DVD-R verbatim,Traxdata discs

Rip the dvd movie disc with dvd shrink

Open Nero Burning Rom v5.5.10.35.Use[bold]Nero Wizard[/bold] and select the following options, [bold]DVD[/bold](Next)[bold]Compile A New DVD[/bold](Next)[bold]Other DVD Formats[/bold](Next)[bold]DVD Video[/bold](Finish).

Put All the DVD Files in the VIDEO_TS(Red Folder)and click the Write CD icon and select the speed and then click the burn icon.
