hey guys, i have bought some dvd+r (made is mirror products), i have a sony dvdrw drive but it seems the drive cannot read the disk, it works fine with the dvd-r and rw's. what might be the problem here?
What's the model # and current firmware version of that sony burner? What's the speed rate of those dash and plus blanks? The MID codes would help. Use this free tool to find all that info and post back: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd-r_tools/dvd_identifier.cfm Most likely your burner needs a firmware update.Especially if you have an older drive and the + format blanks are 16x.
yeah, just upgraded the firmware. it is reading the disk with dvd identifier and no problem so far. i have been looking for the firmware for a while and seems like sony has deleted few upgrades, neva mind my problem is sorted thanks
