Ive been trying too figure out how to copy dvds, i only have to first rip them onto my computer then burn them later. I have been using dvd dycryptor to remove copy protection and dvd shrink to make them fit onto a dvd but for some reason i cant burn them. i bought dvd-r discs and i tried burning the dvds from the existing folders on the computer with dvd clone, nero, and super dvd creator, everytime after it finifhes its analysiis it says to insert a dvd-r/rw and when i put in the blank dvd-r's it says inproper disc. Am i using the wrong programs or should i not be usuing dvd-r's.
    please Help

Are you sure your DVD drive is a DVD burrner and not a DVD-ROM?

What is the model # of the DVD burrner?

Are you sure that your DVD Burrner is compatible with DVD-R media?

The media brand of DVD's you are using could be noncompatible also.

Make sure you have your firmware up to date.
