There's an updated version of CCE Basic (2.69.01.09) available from the Cinemacraft web site. Make sure you have the license information you used to install or you won't be able to download it.

No problem. I probably should have mentioned that the update is for problems with 2 pass encoding, which is what DVD-RB uses. I haven't seen any problems, but better safe than sorry.

Another must have update for using CCE Basic with Rebuilder is out. Version 0.53 of DVD-RB supports setting Quantization Characteristics with CCE Basic so make sure to get the most recent version. It's the Quality_Prec number in the Advance Options for CCE. It's set to 16 by default, which is a common number for people to use, but you can set it higher or lower depending on your needs. You should be able to tell when it should be set higher because you'll see bands of color where you should see 1 solid color instead. In general, you want it set to the lowest number possible that doesn't give you this effect because the lower the number the more bitrate is allocated to motion instead of surface quality, but 16 is generally used as a good general purpose solution so you don't have to change it every time.
