I just burnt my first DVD... and when I play it on my TV it's double widescreen.... everyone looks like a carnival mirror... short and squaty.... am I missing something??? HELP!?!
As the files were burning I noticed it was compressed horizontally... but, I figured I'd let it finish cuz the DVD was already shot... when I played it from my yr old h/k home theatre system it looked the same... and it is set on 4:3.I've made DVDs with Nero that work fine... the app was messing up, so I nixed it.
Try ConvertXtoDVD and see if you have the same problem. http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/ I assume the AVI played OK on your PC? What exact version of Nero were you using? 7.0.0.0, 7.0.8.2, 7.5.9.0, etc.?
works just fine.... sound is fine.... Sound is also fine on home theatre.... maybe I'll just try reinstalling NERO..... but I'd rather figure this out...
Nerovision isn't the best converter and that's an understatement. Some versions are better than others. 7.5.9.0 seems pretty solid. Uninstall your current version. Run the Nero Clean Tool. http://www.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html Reinstall the new version. http://filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?1881
