I have recently bought a 4qus DVD recorder and although I can record off the TV and play pre recorded DVD's, i cannot play DVDRW's that I have burned on my PC.
It attempts to play on the recorder but has "stop" displayed on the recorder and does nothing more.
I have been able to play these DVDRW's on a JVC DVD player.

    Any ideas?

I dont know of a 4qus but if you mean the 4kus it may be a region issue. Make the recorder region free for playback and see if that helps.

Go into setup menu and arrow down to highlight exit tab, enter 2960 and region selection appears, choose your region or select region free, left arrow to exit tab but do not press exit, just hit setup button.

Make sure you finalize the disc.

If the dvdrw was finalized or made compatable,it might not like that certain brand or format of your dvd rw's.Try to slow down the burn speed from your pc to as low as you can go.I make all my pc backups region free and my home recorder has no trouble reading my tdk +rws.
