Does anyone have any sugestions as to what would make a good DVD recorder to backup my xbox games. Currently I have a Dell e510 with a stock dvd burner... Backinup games has been some hassle. It's been more failure then success... and ive tried all different programs in all sorts of combinations and i still get crappy results. So im thinkin it might have to do with my DVD recorder simply because i notice how long it takes to read my dvd-rs. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to a popular and reliable dvd burner.

BenQ burners are good, I have a DW1655 myself.
NEC and Pioneer also make good burners.
Lite-On and Sony are OK but wear out faster if you burn a lot.

Make sure it si not just something else first though.
    1. like using cheap media or bad brands, games must be done on good quality media like Taiyo Yude, Verbatim, Philips or Ritek. I always suggest 8X DVD-R
    2. you just may need a firmware update for the burner.
