I have a motorola high def cable box through my cable company and I want to purchase a DVD recorder. I am not looking for one to record in hi def I just need to find one that will work with this box and give me excellent quality recordings from the digital tv. Can anyone help me??
The only one that I am aware of is this one : http://www.rca.com/product/viewdetail/1,2588,PI700686-CI700335,00.html? Or you can rent one from your cable provider. Comcast did not offer PVR`s or DVR`s, in my area , but they do now.
Just about any DVD recorder should work with the Motorla box. All you need to do is run a s-video cable and pair of audio cables from the Moto box to the DVD recorder's a/v inputs and you will be all set. I would recommend getting the Moto 6208 DVR box. You can record your programs to the internal hard-drive and then, at your leisure, copy them over to the DVD recorder.
