dvd region

    I have a dvd made for asia region. What do I need if I want to copy it and made it compatible for another region?

    Slysoft anyDVD or any other region free encrypting tool.

    well that will allow you to play them in another region but if you want to change the disc properties you will need to edit that in say shrink.

    After you backup the disc in the full disc mode you will come across a screen of optionslike this.

    select the tab that says dvd region.

    Now the next step is to make the disc region free

    now continue on with the rest of the burn and you should of affected change with in the actual disc

    Hi I downloaded a dvd rip and everytime i burn it my DVD player I get a message saying that it can't read it because of the region. I checked DVD shrink and it is set to burn region free but its still not working.

    Try downloading and installing Slysoft's AnyDVD. Once installed go to settings>DVD Tab. At the bottom, make sure all check boxes are ticked. Mount your DVD and let AnyDVD remove the CSS. Open Shrink and remake your movie, keeping the current settings.
