    hello
I have tried to rip a dvd with subs using dvd2svcd and it worked well until the part where tmpegenc was going to take 31 hours. I can't tie my PC up for this long . Is there another way, or a way of doing this in 8 hour chunks?

    Thanks,

    Mezz.

    Hi!
Visit my guide site at YOU WERE WARNED! and take the DVD to SVCD guide. It shouldn't take you more than 6-8 hours to encode a movie in SVCD. Enjoy!

Hello and thanks, just what I wanted. it's not any quicker, but with DVD2SVCD I could only do the whole film. Now I can do a VOB a day and not tie my PC up for 30 hours.

Someone will now post: "But you CAN do a VOB a day with DVD2SVCD!"

    Thanks again,
    Mezz.
