This is an open letter for those users that wish to copy a dvd to hard drive quick and easy without having to play and record at the same time. Sounds like a miracle? Not really. I found a program called "QIMANGO". Odd name for a very useful app. Once downloaded also install "DVD43" to take care of the protection of some discs. Simply insert dvd in drive, select either dvd to folder(fast) or dvd to movie(slow). Select AVI as output, mp4 is not provided, but AVI works as well, 2 channel stereo.Select folder location, libraries, videos ect. START at bottom right. Progress bar appears. When done a success dialog appears. The saved folder appears, select and play. Any one of available players will open, and recorded dvd will play. If a selction dialog appears when disc is inserted, simply close it and open the app instead. Not the fastest but for FREE it works well. The other FREE apps are NOT free. Trials or paid. DVD43 is free as well as the app. NO net framework needed. Give it a try.
