I'm very new to this. I just bought a new 15 inch powerbook with a superdrive about a month ago and I really have no idea where to start when it comes to ripping DVD's onto my hard drive, and then burning it onto a DVD that works on most other DVD players. Can someone just tell me what programs to use to do this, and what exactly I need to do in these programs.
    Thanks

    Hi,
There is a separate forum for DVD riping with MACs:

The only guidance I can give you is that DVD2One has a MAC version for compressing ripped DVD9s for burning onto DVD5s.

    Good luck
