DVD ROM DRIVE PIONEER 107DUAL FORMAT

    I HAVE JUST PURCHASED THE NEW PIONEER 107, DO I HAVE TOO DO ANYTHING TOO IT TOO MAKE IT REGION FREE WHEN PLAYING DVD FILMS, OR WHEN BURNING DVD'S?

    a) Don't yell (EVEN I WAS TAUGHT WHEN I WAS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL HOW TO USE UPPER AND lower-case letters)

    b) Its not DVD-ROM, its DVD+/-R and therefor your post is in wrong forum room.

    c) If you don't know anything about firmware and are not willing to risk ruining your warranty, purchase yourself a copy of DVD Region-Free, you can download the demo from here:

    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvd_region_free.cfm

    ...but if you know how to upgrade firmware, etc, visit http://forum.rpc1.org/ and download the correct RPC-1 firmware for your drive.

    Yes i relised i had left caps on when posted my message , sorry school teacher Sir! and also know i was in wrong forum when posted , i found right forum in the end, but hey thanks for your reply ok!

    Hi, yes i know, many thanks any how, but as far as flashing goe's im going too leave it for now as dont want too spoil my warranty, but i did download your link dvd region free, but saved it in a folder for later, as at moment im using dvd shrink the new beta version and it seem's too do all decrypt and burn with nero for me, it's great so far! take care and once again thank's for your advice!
