Just tried burning a DVD Rom simply to take some of the movie clips off my hard drive to make some space. Used Nero 6 to do this. The DVD burnt well but it seems that when I place the disk into my DVD ROM drive (Pioneer) it has a tough time reading the burnt DVD. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Anyway to fix this? I'd be grateful for any input!

Use the UDF or UDF/ISO option in nero instead as it is more compatible with video.

Thanks for the reply, dude! I gave it a shot but my DVD ROM still doesn't seem to want to read a DVD UDF/ISO disk either. No problem reading CDs in it tho. Maybe I'll try just burning a DVD UDF. Thanks again for trying!

Are you clicking on 'my computer' and the disc drive to open the disc?

Yup! I just hear a little bit of spinning and squealing and then sometimes I can see the directory on the disk. I'll click on a clip, then sometimes it will play, other times it will just sit there. I was thinking it might be the drive itself but absolutely no trouble with CDs. I'm running out of ideas!

Try downloading Force Aspi (it's safe to do anyway) - you may have a problem with the Aspi layer for the drive. Then try again:-
