Just tried burning a DVD Rom simply to take some of the movie clips off my hard drive to make some space. Used Nero 6 to do this. The DVD burnt well but it seems that when I place the disk into my DVD ROM drive (Pioneer) it has a tough time reading the burnt DVD. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Anyway to fix this? I'd be grateful for any input! Riz
Thanks for the reply, dude! I gave it a shot but my DVD ROM still doesn't seem to want to read a DVD UDF/ISO disk either. No problem reading CDs in it tho. Maybe I'll try just burning a DVD UDF. Thanks again for trying! Regards, Riz
Yup! I just hear a little bit of spinning and squealing and then sometimes I can see the directory on the disk. I'll click on a clip, then sometimes it will play, other times it will just sit there. I was thinking it might be the drive itself but absolutely no trouble with CDs. I'm running out of ideas! Riz
Hi There Had exactly the same problem with my dvd rom cd's no problems got iffy on dvdrs replaced the drive with a new one now works everytime no problems whatsoever Doofy
Try downloading Force Aspi (it's safe to do anyway) - you may have a problem with the Aspi layer for the drive. Then try again:- http://www.clonecd.net/aspi.htm
