I retired another thread that was a waste of everyone's time. It concerned an error message I received when trying to burn a DVD. Now I find that not only do I have a read/write problem with my DVD burner, but I also have the same problem with my CD-Burner. Neither ROM can read any type of medium put in. Both the CD and DVD Rom's were fine for the last six weeks doing everything I asked of them. Now, neither will burn or read! Windows (XP Pro) sees both drives, and they are in the BIOS also. If I try to access either, I get an error message that says, "drive is empty" or media is not formatted or corupt". I surely could use a few suggestions. I have already tried 4 different blanks in each machine, have tried to play audio and data CD's in the CD, and 6 different full movies in the DVD with no change of result. I have uninstalled the ROMS, and let Windows reinstall them at startup. Nothing! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
ddp, if I was aware of that rule , I certainly would not have double posted. I simply put the same post into two DIFFERENT forums because the posting concerned both CD and DVD. However, I do not appreciate being informed of the rules by another member. I joined afterdawn.com for help, not aggravation! Please inform the site itself of my violation. Let them handle it.
i guess we'll let the mod's handle it as i was just letting you know not to double post & if you had read that link, i offered a suggestion about your problem. other members from newbies to addicts would have done the same as i did about double posting.
Doesn't matter. One post per question, no exceptions. Well you better get used to it because around here everybody helps out. Ok then. Read the forum rules, readjust the attitude and there won't be any more aggravation.
hahah ..im sorry but HACKETT got told !! and sadly i enjoyed laughing at his amusment and ddp was only trying to help ..so HUSH!! but yeh you might want to get a little more polite and change the attitude seriously...but well i was going to help but now i just forgot what i was going to tell you what 2 do...ill have to come back when i remember...im seriously going MAD !!
