DVD+RW media not working at all after one burning test

    I burned a film that i ripped to a Maxell DVD+RW disc with my Nec1100a drive... Burning went smooth BUT it doesn't work... Every program I try, says that there's no media in the drive.. this is wierd, coz I can't even erase it...:(

    Firstly, RW discs are not the best diea for burning media. There could be a range of other reasons as to why it didnt burn properly.

    What ripping/compression tools are you using. What program are you using to burn to disc?

    I burned it with latest Nero->DVD-Video project... I ripped it with DVD Shrink... Burning went smooth but as I said, but now the drive claims theres no media...:( Disc is Maxell DVD+RW...

    Check the burned surface for spots. The formatting process before the actual burning may have ruined the disc.
