    Dear All,

I have recorded a movie onto a DVD-RW & want to try to copy it onto a DVD-R.

When I use DVDXCopyXpress it calls an error.
When I use DVDShrink it calls a Cyclic Redundancy Error when previewing.

However, the error is only called in DVDShrink about 1 minute into the closing credits. I would be quite happy to trim the credits & have the otherwise full movie.

My query then is - Is it possible to trim the end off of a DVD movie recorded on a DVD-RW to enable me to burn a copy onto a DVD-R?

    MTIA

    John :)

Have you tried making a disk to disk copy or copying the all the files onto your HD and burning to dvd-r. make sure the disk is clean, even if it looks clean, clean it again. RW's tend to get scratched and dirty with many uses.
