DVD+RW TS-H653F problems

I recently updated my 360 to lt. I had unplugged all my drives while the computer was turned off. After updating I turned off the computer and plugged the drive back in. Now whenever I insert a disc all it does it make a noise that sounds like the laser is trying to move or read the disc. It just keeps doing that and then if I click on the drive in my computer the whole computer freezes. If I don't do anything it just keeps making that noise and does nothing.

Anyone got some ideas on what could be causing this?
