My _NEC DVD+RW ND-2100AD103D will only read and burn cd-r. I opened up the the unit to try and put in a multi combo drive which since it wasn't working as an external drive might work just using the caddy, but then I discovered it still didn't so I had to scrap it and replace the original above-mentioned drive. Since doing this I have now discovered it will no longer read/burn any DVD+RW nor CD-RW for which it is intended. How can I resolve this? Look forward to hearing from you with some positive answers. I did check for any updates which I forgot to mention in my previous thread and the firmware is updated, so what else could it be? I have 2 drives the other is working fine. Any more ideas would not come amiss. Thanks again.
humm weird , the drive may be bad . i would call NEC tech support and see if they would have some anwsers
