I am using xpress platinum and get coasters when burning to dvd+r. When I use dvd+rw it writes as it should. How can I get the program to burn to dvd+r ?

    Hi yeopa,
Do your movies play at all? Check your media. Source disc- clean and undamaged, blank media- high quality, name brand stuff.
Afterdawn has a forum just for posting xcopy questions but be sure to look around here at this forum also. :D

    Post xcopy questions here: http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/

    Best wishes,

    yeopa,

It sounds like you have a software conflict -
It presents itself when using -R or +R media and for no earthly reason doesn't do so with RW. Go Figure -

I would suggest that you uninstall and then reinstall DVD XCopy.

If it just the one DVD, check with the above link provided by Frank -

In a bind, you can always do an "on-the-fly" copy from your RW using Nero.

    Best of Luck,
    "P"
