dvd rw

    i have never used rw disks
    i am using windows xp home
    i usually use mozilla firefox browser
    i burn with img burn

    i notice it prompts me the disk needs formatting
    why

    i went to the lg website
    my drive is hl-dt-st dvd-ram gh22lp20
    there was no area for firware update i sent an e-mail to the technical support will see what they say
