dvd back up stops after copyright massage and will not play. plays on dc rom drive ok, set top players can recognise dvd-r from readings i gather copyprotection needs removal by ripping program??? do they all have a copy protection removal. I used dvd cloner to rip and burn the dvd. am i on ther right track?
Yes, you are going in the right direction. I prefer SmartRipper. DVDDecrypter also works well. I'm not familiar with your software.
Argon, When you say DVD Cloner, do you mean CloneDVD? If so, CloneDVD cannot rip a DVD. You need decrypter or my favorite DVDShrink. Shrink rips the DVD, will allow you to strip extra stuff off and compress the files so that they fit on a single DVD-R - "P"
