I copy DVD-discs with DVD-shrink. Everything works fine, however: some discs show disturbance when played on my TV with my DVD-player. My DVD-player guide says that it may be the result of the fact that my player has a copy-securaty system and when a disc with a anti-copy signal is played there will be disturbance. Might that be the reason and what can I do about it?
This may or may not be of any help but here's a problem I had, I put together a new sytem and i had problems burning dvd's from the get go. tried every thing i could think of, but all my movies would halt or stutter and whatnot. I finally found the problem. I use a fancy dany round IDE cable in my pretty new tower. After I swapped out the round cable for a plain jane 80IDE cable, my problem went away.
Does he playback problem look like little blocks (pixelation)? If yes, just try some good blank media. Cheap media can cause many different playback problems. I only use Ritek and never have any problems. DVDShrink removes the encryption from the original so that shouldn't be the problem. Try a good brand media and see if that helps. Jerry
