    I am new to all of this, and am getting confused.

    I used dvd decrypter, and then went to the dvd shrink just like Scubapete's guide said to. Everything went fine in the dvd decrypter, but I have an Issue with dvd shrink.

    When I go to open the file to start the alalysis in shrink I get an error that says "DVD shrink encountered an error, overlapped I/O operation in progress. It wont let me do anything because of this.

    The movie I am trying to backup is Da Vinci Code if this matters.

    Any help with this would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    I find that the easiest way to copy dvds is to use dvd decrypter, dvd shrink and Ripit4me. First make sure you have the latest version of all these 3 programs. Install decrypter and shrink on the pc. then install Ripit4me. Ripit4me will also install another program called Fixvts which is what will probably fix your errors with dvd shrink. besides the cool thing is that the whole process will be automatic ! U simply open up Ripit4me and follow the instructions.If there are still problems post another message

    there are quite a few threads on this movie you might try using the search button and look at a few of the threads and see what other people have done to fix the problems that they have had, also you might try using other programs, good luck, buy the way i used dvd shrink and dvd region + css free to backup this movie

    @brijoe00

    Da Vinci Code has the latest protection from Sony's ARccOS, so both DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter can't handle it. You'll need either DVDFab Decrypter (FREE) or RipIt4Me(FREE).

    DA VINCI CODE guide with RipIt4Me. Follow the guide slow and read it carefully and you'll be able to rip any DVDs.

    Best of luck!!

    I had DVD Shrink errors with Charlie & The Chocolate Factory & Madagascar but i used DVD Fab Decrypter & Vob Blanker then shrink to make an ISO image while running Any DVD.

    And to burn the image onto a disc i used ImgBurn.

    Try that, hope it helps

    Yeah this Movie was hard to decrypt. DVD decrpter couldnt do it. But first use DVDFAB then open DVD shrink and select re-author. Browse to where the movie was decrypted at then drag the movie file to the left. Afterwards burn your movie. Best of luck.
