I Am having problems with DVD Shrink. Whilst Deep Analysing, it pops up with the Error Message - DVD Shrink encountered an Error and cannot Continue - Failed to Read C:/Film/video_ts/VTS_01_3VOB. - Data error (Cyclic Redundancy Check). It Seems to do it most times....Worked for a while and Stated doing this..Also have problems with Decripter....Any Suggestions!!!
Hi, A CRC error usually indicated a problem with the source disc such as fingerprints or scratches. I suggest cleaning the disc and giving it another shot. It may also be that the lens in your drive has dust on it and needs to be cleaned. A good shot of compressed air into the drive while the tray is open may work but I prefer to use a lens cleaner that looks like a normal disc but has a small brush on the underside that cleans the lens. These can be found at most any electronics store.
