    Welcome to AD...this belongs in the Nero subforum and not in the DVD Shrink sub because it is a Nero error.

    You are trying to use two different versions of Nero. Run in this order:

    Registry Checker and Driver CleanTool
    InCD CleanTool
    Nero 6 CleanTool

    From this link: http://www.nero.com/nero6/eng/Clean_Tools.html

    Make sure you are using the most current firmware version from here: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2358

    Reduce your target size to 4400 in Recode to avoid the outer edge of the disc.

    These discs can be problematic...I would suggest Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden for highest compatability.

    Burn at 8X.

    Did you remove the disc from the drive? It is recognized above, but here it appears there isn't a disc in the drive.

    I forgot to mention a reboot is needed after the cleaning of the old files and registry has been done. Any success yet?

    I didn't see where the media being used was mentioned. What brand media are you using and what company manufactured it. Google for (or click on) DVD Identifier and use it to ID the media you're using, if you don't already have a program that will do it. Normally Nero will ID the media, but I didn't see it here.

    Missed the part on media. Should have been more observant, but it was late. I agree with you. Better media should be tried. We both think alike on this. When questionable media is used, try better quality. Though not always the solution, it has been in many cases.

    thanks for the help guys. yea, the disc are crappy but hey they were cheap at best buy, but ill get some good ones this upcoming winter season.

    for right now, its working, i got a couple of my orginals copied. these discs are crappy, they wont work in my panasonic dvd player or sony dvd player, they are old tho. like 2001-2003 dvd players but its the media issue which you guys are talking about.

    thanks for the help. defintly appreciated it.

    Glad to see you've located your problem. Don't feel alone, many people buy cheap thinking because it's round and shiny, the DVD should work. For data they often do. However, video is more difficult.

    @LOCOENG
    Good call.
