That's cool, the first working DVD always feels very nice :)

As for quality, to actually do the encoding yourself with expensive encoders like CCE SP would prove to turn out way better quality but time consuming, however, programs like DVD Rebuilder can help there!

Now that dual layered DVDs are starting to come up, is there any chance that Shrink would be updated to allow as to take advantage of this new opportunity to banish compression from our back ups. Would be nice if that happened.

Yordan: Shrink doesn't need to do anything differently for dual layer since it doesn't have its own burning engine. By the time you're burning dual layer media there will be a version of Nero that supports dual layer burning, so it shouldn't be a problem. I am curious to see what LightningUK has planned for dual layer support in DVD Decrypter though.

It'll be called "DVD Shrink For Those Poor Bastards That Can't Afford A Dual-Layer".

I'm so with you on that one vurbal.

I just ordered Nero 6 Ultra yesterday and am curious as to whether Nero's dual-layer support will be a free update or a $$ upgrade.
