I was wondering if anyone who owns a Pioneer XL drive has problems using DVD Shrink? I just installed my new drive onto my desktop and set it as the Master while my Pionner 103 is on the second bay as the slave. My problem is that DVD Shrink does not recognize my new A07 XLB Drive but will back up DVDs on my old 103. Does anyone know why this is happening? Will a new firmware resolve my issue?
lBUNDYl, I think you answered your own question? Try the Firmware update for your drive, also did you install the ASPI layer form adaptec.com? even if it is currently installed, you might have to reinstall it so it will recognize the new dirve.
