hey i'm new to this forum but i have vsited it a couple times before and found some answer i have been searching for from reading other poeoples threads, and from i've seen your all pretty knowledgable about DVD media and hardware. I have a _NEC DVD+RW ND-2100AD DVD burner in my computer and until recently it had worked perfectly. Now when i put a blank DVD into the burner the computer tells me there is no media in the drive!! i have tried with Nero, cd-clone, DVD decrypter, CDRWIN and a few others. I have tried all types of media available to me about 11 in total - and + and DVDRW's and DVD-Rs. nothihg is working. the closet thing i can tell was i got a virus before and had to do a total system restore. but i know nothing about these hardware!!! so if someone could help, or tell me what information they would need to be able to help me i would greatly appreciate it. i really need some hard disk space and i need to burn some files!!! thanks
