Hi! After I have burned a dvd-r with subtitle the dvd stops after a while. I followed this guide: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm Divx movie converted in TMPGenc in 2 seperate audio and video file. Then I used IFOEdit to convert the 3 files (audio, movie and subtitle) into dvd compatible files. Then I used Nero to burn all the files into a dvd-rw. Can anyone tell what the problem is or if I am doing something wrong?? //charl
hi charl Never heard of that, brand but,ive heard in here that some dvd players have trouble with rw media. And im guessing what your using is kinda cheap. If you still have the vob files that you made,do they play on your computers dvd software, without stopping, or freezing? If they do, than it has to be the media. If not then, your divx movie maybe corrupt. If your vob files do play alright,I would suggest getting some ritek go4 or verbatim dvdr's,and see if thats not your problem.(ritek can be had at well less than a .70(us) check out your standalones with this chart, before you buy or order online dvdr's:http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers hope i helped jim _X_X_X_X_X_[small] you should never take life too seriously....you'll never get out alive!! procrastinate now...dont put it off till tomorrow if you can read this..you dont need glasses.[/small]
Hi! The vob. files works fine when I play it with PowerDvd on my computer. So it has to be media problems. I'll try to buy new better working media... Thanks //charl
Yes. Some DVD players do not support DVD-RW's. You might have to use DVD-R only and than try it. It will work on your computer because computer supports more type of media's that a DVD player doesn't.
