DVD Subtitles

    Hi i hope i have posted on the correct forum

    i have an avi file on my computer and i also have a subtitle file which is an .srt file

    can anyone give me some advice on how to get the subtitles working with the film.

    Just use VobSub OR FFDShow. (or if you like VLC media player, it will do the work)

    1. Get VobSub
    And use "load always" option...

    2. Get FFDShow
    You need to enable subtitles in configure windows...

    3. Or just use that VLC.... http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

    i got it working on computer, but is there a way to convert the file to dvd with the subtitles included?
    sorry for being a pain guys, i appreciate all the advice!

    Like you see, there is many ways...

    But here are some easy to use progrmas:
    FilmMachine, ConvertXtoDVD or DVDSanta
    and they all support subtitles.

    Usual subtitles should be in .srt format... so if need to, you can use SubtitleWorkshop and save them to as SubRip (srt).
