Hi i hope i have posted on the correct forum i have an avi file on my computer and i also have a subtitle file which is an .srt file can anyone give me some advice on how to get the subtitles working with the film. cheers.
Just use VobSub OR FFDShow. (or if you like VLC media player, it will do the work) 1. Get VobSub And use "load always" option... 2. Get FFDShow You need to enable subtitles in configure windows... 3. Or just use that VLC.... http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
Thanks for that i got it working on computer, but is there a way to convert the file to dvd with the subtitles included? sorry for being a pain guys, i appreciate all the advice! cheers
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/ Like you see, there is many ways... But here are some easy to use progrmas: FilmMachine, ConvertXtoDVD or DVDSanta and they all support subtitles. Usual subtitles should be in .srt format... so if need to, you can use SubtitleWorkshop and save them to as SubRip (srt).
