DVD to .Avi lossless conversion

    Hello,
    I have a 8gb surfing DVD that i want to convert to .avi. Is their any program that will rip this dvd to avi without losing the dvd quality picture. i dont mind if the avi file is 8gb after ripping it, just as long as the avi has a dvd quality picture

    Converting it to a 4GB Xvid/Divx should be pretty close.
