dvd to divx - auido questions

    what is the best audio compression to use? to give good audio results (sounds & sync), and relatively small file size?

    mp3, many use the lame mp3 codec

    .WMA will give you better quality/file size tham .MP3 therefore should be preferred format . The trouble I am having though is that for some strange reason I can't encode .WAV into .WMA with CDEX 1.9 (only .MP3 works for me) following guidelines from this site. I am trying to find out why.
