DVD to Divx

    Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and was wondering what program is best for backing up my dvd collection onto my computer in a divx or xvid format. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Try a program called Vidomi (http://www.vidomi.com/). Freeware with a good choice of settings. I was using another freeware program called Mpeg Mediator until I saw this recommended on another thread, and I have to say I'm impressed.
