Hi all, i am having a bit of a problem converting a dvd to mp4 to go on my i-pod. i used dvd decrypter to copy the vob files onto my pc, then i used xilisoft dvd to ipod converter. once the vob files were converted they played fine when viewing them in the xilisoft program but when i imported them into i-tunes the video played fine but the only audio was the directors commentary.
Why not just convert the file once using Xilisoft DVD to iPod? Since you have it, there's no point to use DVD Decrypter. ;-)
Thanks for answering............the problem was the conversion failed when doing it straight from xilisoft. i read the FAQ and it said some dvd's are copy protected and need to be copied using either dvd shrink or decrypter first, then converted.
