Well, if you have the latest update of Nero Recode installed, then you can convert Videos, but you will need a DVD Ripper like DVD Decrypter to enable you to fully convert DVD's. My guide at the top of the forum will show you how to rip your DVD into one .vob file which can subsequently be converted into mp4.
thanks but the problem im having now is that it will not let me update nero i go to the site and the computer freezes up
Your computer freezes up through going on the Nero site? I doubt very much that Nero's website is freezing your computer up. Make sure your computer is free of all viruses & spyware. Come back when you have updated, and I will help you.
