I have been using Smartripper and AC3Tool to rip the AC3 file off the concert dvds and convert it to wav so I can listen to them on cd. When I back up dvds to svcd with DVD2AVI, I create a wav file for the audio in less time, without having to convert an ac3 file to wav. Are there any drawbacks or loss of quality from just resampling this wav from 48 to 44.1hz, and burning this file cd? Thanks

it just cut off whatever data thats above 44khz. dowwnsampling isn't too bad as downsampling, but i really won't do it if possible.

Thanks Shiro. I will keep that in mind. Do I have to resample in order to burn it to a cd, or can I burn it at 48hz?
