Hi all, I'm new to the DVD burning world. I have an .avi video which I want to convert to DVD. I decided to use Cucusoft to convert my .avi to DVD format, and then used IFOEdit to generate the DVD files for Nero. Everything goes as planned except that when I play the burned DVD on my DVD player, the video doesnt show up (just a black screen) but the audio works as its supposed to. I've played other burned DVD's before, so I'm pretty sure my DVD player isnt the problem. The weird part is, if I play the DVD on my PC, everything works fine, both video and audio are synced. I'm just confused!

I dont know if it matters, but I'm using DVD-R discs instead of DVD+R, so I dont know if I should burn it a certain way depending on the type of disc. Any ideas would be great, or if you need some more info, let me know. Thanks.

Just a quick update, after doing some more research into it, the problem may be the disc's I'm using (HP) are not compatible with my DVD player (JVC). I'm going to go buy another DVD make (Ritek DVD+R) and give this another go. But I'm still open to suggestions!
