DVD will not play in player.

    I have copied several dvds before. this is how i do it.

    first i use DVDFabDecrypter. Then DVDShrink,then it burns it to the dvd disc by DVDDecrypter.

    I am new to this.

    the dvd only plays on certain players. i checked the settings in one of the programs, i believe it was shrink and it had no region code. if i set it to 1 (us and canada) would the dvd disc play in all players?

    im using maxell dvd+r 8x 4.7gb.

    please help. i was referred here by a family member and he told me this was a great place for questions and that stuff.

    Try to burn those dvd-files using Nero.

    Are you sure your DVD player plays +r media some of the older models do not allow this, also it could be the media that you are using to make your backups on, only some advice check it out!

    Can someone please help me, by telling what I need to do, or purchase to enable me to playback DVD's I have made in Nero recode digital?
    I have two DVD players and they handle most stuff including DivX
