I have created a .wmv movie and converted it to a vob DVD Compliant file using SUPERc. I selected MPEG-II video codec and AC3 Audio codec which were the defaults.
I have then used Nero 6.6 to burn the file which is in the form VTS.nn.n.VOB to the VIDEO_TS directory. Once complete the DVD runs on my PC, but only if I double click on the file, ie no automatic start. My DVD player rejects the DVD.
I know that the player will play these DVD-R disks as I have copied a couple of pre-recorded DVDs using DVD-Shrink and burned then to the VIDEO_TS directory using Nero and they work fine on the player.
When I compare the two disks the only difference appears to be that my home movie disk only contains the one file (VTS_01_0_VOB) while the previous copies have a number of others (eg BUP & IFO) .
I am sure I am missing something simple here. Can anyone help, before I run out of DVDs.

Load your new SuperC file into NeroVision Express to finish (author) the job. You can't just plunk it into a VIDEO_TS folder.

That's not what I'd call running.

    Thanks for your help.
    NeroVision worked well.
