    Hello everyone,

Today i've tried burning a japanese film on DVD. I've spend the last 3 days figuring what the best programs where to do this and how they work. This site has been of great use to me, but now I'm stuck....

Ive eventually converted my DVD with AVI2DVD (i used AVI MPEG to DVD converter first, but AVI2DVD has more options) and DVD Decrypter to burn the resulting ISO file to DVD-ROM. That DVD is not recognised by my PC nor my DVD player even though both programs reported no errors! Any idea why?

My second idea was using Nero Burning Rom to burn the VIDEO_TS file to DVD. This worked fine, but no subtitles appear(and the menu was a bit crappy, but i can live with that ;) ) I've looked around the screen on my tv, there's nothing there..
The subtitle is an srt file (there were 3, which i muxed with Subtitle Workshop) which didn't need synchronising.
The movie consisted of two AVI files but before i used AVI2DVD i muxed them together. After this the movie worked just fine.

I had one error when i tried using AVI2DVD which was that i was missing a file named: xvidcore.dll
I downloaded XviD-1.0.3-20122004.exe and then it worked fine. No errors the second time i tried
I think the problem might have been with DVD Decrypter. I opened a rar file with iso extention (that was the only iso i saw)

I've spend so many days to burn this DVD but still it wont work... :'(
Is there anyone here who could help me?? I would be very gratefull

    Dear Ehlana85,

Maybe you could try ConvertXToDVD and do things in one go. If you don't care about the menu, there's also DVDSanta.

    Good luck!
