Help! What have i done! I am a complete noob and have just begun to explore backing up dvds. I have experimented with a few progs with varying degrees of sucess but must have altered some settings on my dvd drive by mistake somehow. My dvd drive will play dvd films (movies), read data CDs play audio CDs and run CDROMs but when i try to run a dvdrom game (deus ex 2) everything locks up irretrievably. Help
Really? Am i right in assuming this is "uninstall" (I am running xp pro btw). Would i be correct in assuming that on restarting windows will find the drive as new hardware and re-install? Seems nice and easy if so but thought i'd better check rather than just finding myself without a drive (in the process exposing myself to endless ridicule from my wife- i am getting enough for norking up the drive in the first place !!).
