Thanks in advance for the help. I recently purchased a Pioneer A06U DVD Writer. It is installed as the slave on my cable. The master is an NEC CD Writer. I have been unable to create a successful DVD movie backup using DVDXCopyXpress. Every time I try, it reads and copies the DVD onto the disk, but the disks will not work in my DVD Player, my Playstation 2 or my neighbors DVD Player. I have tried DVD+R and -R When I use +R the PS2 makes funny noises, and the DVD Player will not finish reading the disk. The -R disks simply do not read (DVD Player says NO READ). If anyone could give me a little bit of insight into my problem, I would appreciate it immensely. Thank you very much.
I mean it won't let me post a question until I have been a member of the message board for 48 hours I have about 23 to go.
What burning software are you using? Make sure it is not set to burn in multisession and that other settings are OK (the programme help section can help you). Try copying a DVD direct that's not copyrighted. Also try changing the make of the discs especially if you are using cheapos. Don't forget that you can try DVD Shrink meantime which will do the same job as Xpress and it's free.
