Hello. If this post is not allowed I did not mean to cause offence. Today I installed and activated DVD Region Free. My hope was to burn region 1 DVDs using DVD X Copy Platinum (Simple Mode). I am running version 3.1.1. Seconds into the burning process I get an Error Info message from Platinum. I have two DVD drives. A HL-DT-ST DVD ROM GRR 8162B and a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-106D. Both drives are configured Region 2, The error message happens regardless of which drive is reading the DVD. I have ensured the problem is with the DVD Region Free application. DVD Region 2s are burned successfully when region free is disabled. Despite the problem the software does work the region 1s do play. My DVDs are played in PowerDVD. I am running version 4.0. I have a Sony Vaio running XP Home Edition.
