DVD X copy Platinum help

    I am a newbie

    I just got a LG 4040B DVD writer and DVD X Copy and
    when I try to backup one of my movies my DVD rom or my home DVD player wont read the copyed movie.

    Any help would ba greatly appreciated.

    What playback software are you using. I use windvd with no problems. Also is your media compatible with your player, i.e. are you playing DVD+R media on a player that will only play DVD-R media?
