I have been using dvd x copy platinum to rip my dvd's, i take the disclaimer off with ifoedit and burn with nero 6 and haven't had the slightest problem! Why on earth do so many of you dislike this program?????
Hi alangrw, I don't think its a matter of dislike for the program. Most of the X copy programs started out with many problems and 321studios has been working to correct them with the several updates to each version. The reason I think you see so many negative remarks is because it cost money and there are quite a few free programs that do the job as well if not better without as many problems. Its just a matter of choice. I own DVD X Copy Express that I started out with and it is a true 1 click backup program. But I don't use it much these days because DVDShrink(free) or Clonedvd work better and give you options that Express can't. If Platinum works for you, keep using it and don't worry about other opinions on choice of software. I would suggest you try Shrink sometime if you haven't. It may change your mind. Jerry
