dvd x copy xpress

    i just got xcopy and a burner,i burned 3 movies after they start on dvd player the screen starts jumping and the dvd player cuts off but they will play on my computer,can anyone give me some advise on why they wont work on my dvd player

    way71, The most common problem is a mis-match in media. Check to see if your burner is a +R burner with +R blank media. Then see if you player will play +R. Most older players back 2 years or so will only play -R media. Just guessing since you didn't give any brand names or models.

    Hi Wayne, Welcome to the club. If you want to check media compatibility, go to this site. www.dvdrhelp.com .
    Scroll down the left side to dvd writers or dvd players. Then enter your model numbers. It will tell you what type media they take. Lots of good info there.
